ABOUT-2

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You’re not sick, but you don’t feel well. You’ve got no energy and there’s a general feeling of life is same old, same old. You know that something needs to change, but you don’t know where to start.  Your clothes are just a bit tighter than they were this time last year. There never seems to be enough hours in the day to get everything done.

You get up in the morning and kick start your day with a coffee. Race out the door to get a headstart on the To Do List. Somewhere around 10:00am you realise you’re starving. You grab another coffee and inhale a muffin. Lunchtime rolls around and if you’re lucky, you’ve got leftovers from last night. If not, it’s a grab and go at home (toast and vegemite anyone?) or a drop-in and run at the nearest food shop.  By 3.30 your either slumped at your desk dying for a chocolate, a biscuit, anything to keep you awake. Or you’re in the middle of afterschool activities – pick up, drop off, homework, no time to eat (did someone say cake?).

Fast forward to 6pm and you’re on your way home from work after a hellish day. Or it’s the witching hour where hungry children turn evil without warning. Either way, you want something quick and easy and full of comfort (where is that takeaway menu?).

By 9pm your dozing on the couch with a glass of wine, only to find when you eventually get to bed, you can’t sleep and you toss and turn all night. Wake up. Rinse and repeat.

Hey, my name is Jaron.

I’m an everyday guy who happens to be a personal trainer. I love to help people feel good about themselves and the life they live.

I believe strong bodies equal a strong mind and a better way of life physically and emotionally. It’s why I’m passionate about motivating people to improve their lives through fitness. I’ve been running group outdoor training classes for over fifteen years. I’ve created bootcamps and presented at conferences. I’ve mentored new trainers and trained hundreds of clients. And I still love meeting people and helping them achieve their goals.

I realised early on that fitness needs to be something that you enjoy to gain the most benefit from it. Growing up, I played soccer. I didn’t particularly enjoy it, it was something my parents made me do. It wasn’t until I made the switch to rugby that I realised getting fit could be enjoyable. Being part of a team where everyone was working towards the same fitness goal, caused a shift in my thinking. I realised that training could be a time to catch up with mates and do something that left me feeling great for hours after. This then became my philosophy for Impact. I wanted to create a similar environment to deliver the knowledge I have gained training hundreds of people. A team culture where everyone comes together with one common goal – to be the best that they can be.

For the outside, I design programs that meet your training goals. But most importantly, I work with you to empower you to make the changes necessary to fulfil your personal growth. I become personally invested in you. I can’t help it. It is just who I am. And I won’t give up on you, even when you feel like giving up on yourself. When you come to class, you immerse yourself in an environment where people feel like they’re coming home to a happy family. Where you are free to be yourself and become part of the team.

Where your team mates become your friends and together you have found your place to belong, to grow, to change. Sometimes in life, you realise that there is more to life.

Need a Change?

Are you at that point in life where you realise that there is more to life than Wake Up, Rinse, Repeat?

Want a little motivation?

Let’s help you shine with our daily dose of positivity!

I have been training with Jaron at Impact now for about 10 Months. The first thing I noticed is that Jaron and the classes are lots of fun. There are a good variety of classes and the time table works for me but the thing I really found surprising is there is a good mix on ages and everyone is welcoming.  I don’t know what floats your boat but I would recommend giving Jaron at Impact a try.

What can I say but thank you Jaron

I think I may well have given up had you not been there to keep me training and to keep me positive while I was recovering from a number of injuries. Thank you for always finding away for me to train.

I really enjoy our training sessions and long chats while jogging
